Care and Comfort

Food: Sprucedale Cattery stocks IAMS, Purina, Royal Canin ( or similar), dry food and Felix and Whiskas wet food. If your cat requires a special diet or food of your choice, please bring along enough food to cover your cats stay with us at Sprucedale Cattery.
Cats are fed twice daily with water. Elderly cats and kittens can be fed more frequently if required.


Vaccinations: All cats entering the cattery must have an up to date vaccinations against Feline Flu and Enteritis. The vaccination card must be brought with you at the beginning of your cats stay as proof and will be kept and returned to you at the end of the stay. All cats must be vaccinated annually with the annual booster no more than 3 months overdue. 
It is also requested that cats (including house cats) are wormed and treated for fleas before they are boarded.
A charge will be made if necessary to purchase flea and or treatment at the vets.

HealtH: We use a daily chart to monitor feeding, litter tray use, medication and other health issues. Should any health issues arise at your cats stay at Sprucedale Cattery we will try to use the Owner's regular vet wherever possible, dependant on distance.
Sprucedale Cattery uses Parkside Vets, 61 Ruskin Road, Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 3DD.
Parkside Vets will invoice the owners direct.
If a new health problem occurs during boarding at Sprucedale Cattery our insurance will cover fees up to £2,000
(provided injury or illness is not caused directly or indirectly from breeding activities, vaccinations or pre existing conditions).
All male cats over the age of 6 months must be neutered.

You are very welcome to bring your cats own bed, toys, blanket and treats from home to help them settle in at Sprucedale Cattery.

Sprucedale Cattery is built and run according to the Feline Advistiory Bureau (FAB) standards and is annually inspected and licensed by the London Borough of Sutton under the Animal Boarding Establishment Act 1963.
